What will they think of next? Three college students allegedly set off a partial stick of dynamite at the Oceanside Inn in Daytona Beach early Friday. One tourist told WFTV (Orlando) he'd seen the men earlier and they were wasted. Ya think? WFTV identifies the men as 21-year-old Timothy Bechtel of La Grange, Illinois, 21-year-old Christopher Romano of Dayton, Ohio, and 21-year-old Michael Bolt, also from La Grange. You can read all about the trio at the station's website. If convicted on the charges, these students will certainly have a big spring break memory, one we can hope won't be repeated. I doubt they're having fun right now. If you've got a spring break story, share it below on the comments.
What's the wildest thing you ever did on spring break?
I looked long and hard for a video without drugs, naked people or lots of profanity. After all, this is allegedly a family site. Here's a look at a spring break in Daytona that seems to have gone well for the tourists and the community (a rarity if you live in an area popular with spring breakers). The video is not connected to the recent explosion.![]()
